Roseville is allocated 171 radios at $1,995/radio <br />Radio Radio <br />Tv�l Quantitv <br />Mobile Order $173,753.96 48 <br />Portable Order $345,848.52 <br />RAQ19 TQTAL $519,602.48 171 <br />RADIO SUBSIDY $349,145.00 <br />ROSEVILLE COST $178,457.48 <br />The $178,457.48 net cost to Roseville for 171 800 MHz radios would come from the City's Equipment <br />Replacement Fund. <br />In addition to these hardware costs for the radios, we anticipate budgeting for radio usage, maintenance, and <br />programming fees of approximately $15,000 per year. <br />As for dispatching costs, we estimate spending $158,000 for police and fire dispatching in the 2007 City Budget, <br />This is based on the negotiated dispatching formula in the dispatching agreement. <br />These cost numbers are consistent with the 800 MHz and consolidated dispatch briefings staff has provided <br />Council in the past. <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br />The Roseville Police and Fire Departments are requesting that the Council review and approve the attached <br />agreements that will allow transition to the Ramsey County Public Safety Communication Systert�180f3 MHz <br />system. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />The Rasevilie Police and Fire Departments are requesting that the CounCil approve the attached agreements. <br />
