City Council Regular Meeting— 08/14/06 <br />DRAFT Minutes - Page 15 <br />project and related issues. <br />Councilmember Kough opined that any reimbursements <br />should cease until the project's viability was determined. <br />Kough moved, Ihlan seconded, a motion to table action on <br />this item. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Ihlan and Kough. <br />Nays: Pust; Maschka and Klausing. <br />Motion failed. <br />Mayor Klausing clarified that the City had a contractual <br />obligation to seek reimbursement for applicable expenses, <br />as per the Development Agreement. <br />Interim City Manager Miller concurred that the bills had <br />been paid in advance, as per procedural custom in City <br />government, particularly with the size and scope of <br />operations in a City the size of Roseville, and as per State <br />law, the City Council was asked to approve purchases. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Pust; Maschka and Klausing. <br />Nays: Ihlan and Kough. <br />6. Recognitions, Donations, Communications Recognitions, <br />Interim City Manager Miller distributed a partial list of recent Donations, <br />beneficiaries of support from the Kiwanis Club of the North Communications <br />Suburban Golden K and introduced two guests from the Club. <br />Mr. John Tramel, President-elect and Elwood Caldwell, Past <br />President, were present to review club activities and to announce <br />Kiwanis Peanut Day, observed nation-wide, and serving as the <br />principle fundraising activity. <br />Mayor Klausing welcomed the Club representatives, thanked <br />them for their ongoing programs and contributions to the <br />community, and read the proposed proclamation establishing <br />September 22, 2006 as Golden K Kiwanis Peanut Day. <br />By consensus, the Roseville City Council proclaimed Friday, <br />
