At the meeting, 5 residents expressed concern <br />over the proposed development. Specifically, most citizens who spoke indicated concern <br />over how the removal of trees and the proposed private road serving 4 residential lots <br />might change the quiet, private character of the neighborhood. <br />8. �. The Commission commented that while the proposal is acceptable in light of the <br />requirements of the City Code, the whole neighborhood would benefit from a more <br />comprehensive redevelopment of the area rather than the inevitably piecemeal results of <br />several individual developments over time. The Commission added that this particular <br />area is already changing by virtue of a number of projects subdividing residential lots for <br />future singlefamily home construction, as well as the construction of 22 town homes in <br />the past few years. <br />�,� In response to neighbors' concerns pertaining to the removal of trees and the potential <br />impact of the private street, the Commission recommended during its vote on the <br />GENERAL CONCEPT PUD to add two conditions, included above as conditions "d" and <br />�te» <br />�_� The Roseville Planning Commission voted 4-1 to recommend approval of the proposed <br />PRELIMINARY PLAT, creating 4 single family iots and a private street; voted 4-1 <br />to recommend approval of the proposed REZONING from R-1, Single Family <br />Residence District to Planned Unit Developmentwith an underlying zoning of R-1, <br />Single Family Residence District; and voted 4-1 to recommend approval of the <br />GENERAL CONCEPT PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT. <br />�� 4� SUGGESTED COUNCIL ACTION <br />�. � BY MOTION, APPROVE the PRELIMINARY PLAT, creating 4 single-family lots <br />and a private road. <br />�.y BY MOTION, APPROVE the REZONING from R-1, Single-familyResidence <br />District to Planned Unit Developmentwith an underlying zoning of R-1.
