City Council Regular Meeting — 09/25/06
DRAFT Minutes - Page 11
Mayor Klausing directed staff to rrid meeting minutes and
documents as submitted from the original application for the
subdivision prior to the next Council meeting.
Klausing moved, Pust seconded, TABLING action related to
consideration of a Variance to § 1004.016, and in Accordance
with § 1013.02 of the Roseville City Code for Charles Weleczki,
and the Vacant Parcel at Dale Street and Dale Court (PF 3781);
until the October 9,2006 regular City Council meeting.
Roll Call
Ayes: Maschka; Ihlan; Kough; Pust and Klausing.
Nays: None.
7. Consider a Request by Arthur Mueller for Approval of a
Preliminary Plat, Rezoning, and General Concept Planned
Unit Development (PUD) for the Subdivision and
Development at 2201 Acorn Road (PF 3766)
Community Development Director John Stark and Associate
Planner Bryan Lloyd reviewed the request by Mr. Mueller for a 26
foot wide private drive in the middle of the existing parcel, and
creation of four single-family residential lots, with two lots
adjacent to Acorn Road and two lots in the back half of the parcel
utilizing the cul-de-sac at the end of the private street.
Staff recommended approval of the request, subject to conditions
of the staff report dated September 25,2006.
Mayor Klausing noted the preference for the proposed
development to occur under a PUD, rather than the applicant
simply seeking re-platting, allowing for the City to apply
conditions to the development.
Associate Planner Bryan Lloyd noted setback requirements and
inconsistencies due to staffs recognition of adjacent and
neighboring properties on the north and south having side yards
facing the development and staff s proposal for those lots to have
ten foot setbacks to allow for consistency with adjoining
properties.
Arthur Mueller
Preliminary Plat,
Rezoning, and
General Concept
PCTD Subdivision
and Development
2201 Acorn Road
(PF 3766)
