REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION
Date: 10/3/006
Tierr No: 3.g
Department Approval: Manager Approved: Agenda Section:
 ' Consent Agenda
Item Description: Approving a Contract with E-Democracy.org to Establish and Maintain
the on-line Roseville Issues Forum
Background
Earlier this year, the Council gave conceptual approval to an on-line issues forum that would
complement the existing Imagine Roseville 2025 initiative. The Council agreed to enter into a
contract with E-Democracy.org to establish and maintain this forum at a maximum amount of
$6,000.
Over the past few months, representatives of E-Democracy.org have completed the issues forum
and are in the process of establishing by-laws and a permanent forum manager. To date, the City
has not paid E-Democracy.org any monies for their services pending approval of a formal
contract.
A copy of the contract containing signatures from E-Democracy.org is attached, and awaits
Council approval. The contract is similar to one we have with Anne Carroll, consultant for the
Imagine Roseville 2025 initiative.
Attachments
Attachment A— Contract with E-Democracy.org to establish and maintain the Roseville
Issues Forum
Request for Council Action
Approve a Contract with E-Democracy.org to establish and maintain the Roseville Issues Forum.
