Attachment A <br />LICENSE AGREEMENT BETWEEN METROPOLITAN COUNCII, <br />AND <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />This Agreement, effective on the date of execution by both parties, is made and entered into by <br />and between the Metropolitan Council, a public corporation and political subdivision of the State <br />of Minnesota ("Council") and City of Rosev��Ie ("City") <br />RECITALS <br />WHEREAS, the CITY desires to provide transit alternatives to its residents and to contribute to <br />the reduction of transportation problems in the St. Paul and Minneapolis metropolitan area; <br />WHEREAS, the COUNCIL wishes to establish locations within the metropolitan area at which <br />passengers may park their automobiles and ride a COUNCIL bus to the downtown areas of <br />Minneapolis and St. Paul; <br />WHEREAS, the CITY owns and maintains a parking lot presently used primarily for parl�ing by <br />employees and customers. <br />AGREEMENT <br />NOW, THEREFORE, FOR GOOD AND VALUABLE CONSIDERATION THE RECEIPT OF <br />WHICH IT IS MUTUALLY AGREED, by and between the parties hereto, as follows: <br />Use of Paririn� Lot. The COUNCIL may use 50 stalls of the parl�ing lot (detailed on map <br />attached hereto as Exhibit A) owned by the CITY, located at 2661 Civic Center Drive in <br />Roseville as a park-and-ride lot for the parl�ing of automobiles of COUNCIL passengers and <br />Metro Transit buses. <br />2. Time of Usage. The parl�ing lot may be used by the COUNCIL Monday through Friday <br />except those which may be designated by the CITY from time to time for lot maintenance or <br />major events. <br />3. Maintenance. The CITY shall provide or arrange for provision of non-routine maintenance <br />or repair attributable to the extra usage of the parl�ing lot resulting from this Agreement.
