Section 12. 101�.2SD is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />Shoreland Alterations: Alterations of vegetation and topographyshall be regulated to prevent erosion into public <br />waters, fix nutrients, preserve shoreland aesthetics, preserve historic values, prevent bank slumping, and protect fish <br />and wildlife habitat. Fill and grading activities within shoreland shall comply with subsections 10l 6.25A2a through <br />A2i and 1016.25B. Erosion control measures shall comply with Chapter 1017: Erosion and Sedimentation Control <br />Ordinance. <br />Section 13. 10�6.25�2a is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />Intensive vegetation clearing within the shore and bluff impact zones and on steep slopes is not allowed. Intensive <br />vegetationclearing outside of the impactzones is allowable as a conditionaluse if an erosion con�rol and <br />sedimentation plan is developed per the requirements of Chapter 1017: Erosion and Sedimentation Control <br />Ordinance. <br />SeCt10ri 14. Summary apprOVed. The City Council hereby determines that the text of the summary marked <br />"Official Summary of Ordinance N o., a copy of which is attached hereto clearly informs the public of the <br />intent and effect of the ordinance. The City Council further determines that publication of the title and such <br />summary will clearly inform the public of the intent and effect of the ordinance. <br />SeCt10ri 15. Filing. The City Clerk shall file a copy of this ordinance in her office, which copy shall he <br />available for inspection by any persons during regular office hours. <br />SeCt10ri 16. PubllCatlOri. The City Clerk shall publish the title of this ordinance and the official summary in <br />the official newspaper of the City with notice that a printed copy of the ordinance is available for inspection by any <br />person during regular office hours at the Office of the City Clerk. <br />Section 17. If this Section (1017) imposes a requirement different from other sections of the city <br />code, the more restrictive section shall apply. <br />
