Section 12. 101�.2SD is hereby amended to read as follows: Shoreland Alterations: Alterations of vegetation and topographyshall be regulated to prevent erosion into public waters, fix nutrients, preserve shoreland aesthetics, preserve historic values, prevent bank slumping, and protect fish and wildlife habitat. Fill and grading activities within shoreland shall comply with subsections 10l 6.25A2a through A2i and 1016.25B. Erosion control measures shall comply with Chapter 1017: Erosion and Sedimentation Control Ordinance. Section 13. 10�6.25�2a is hereby amended to read as follows: Intensive vegetation clearing within the shore and bluff impact zones and on steep slopes is not allowed. Intensive vegetationclearing outside of the impactzones is allowable as a conditionaluse if an erosion con�rol and sedimentation plan is developed per the requirements of Chapter 1017: Erosion and Sedimentation Control Ordinance. SeCt10ri 14. Summary apprOVed. The City Council hereby determines that the text of the summary marked "Official Summary of Ordinance N o., a copy of which is attached hereto clearly informs the public of the intent and effect of the ordinance. The City Council further determines that publication of the title and such summary will clearly inform the public of the intent and effect of the ordinance. SeCt10ri 15. Filing. The City Clerk shall file a copy of this ordinance in her office, which copy shall he available for inspection by any persons during regular office hours. SeCt10ri 16. PubllCatlOri. The City Clerk shall publish the title of this ordinance and the official summary in the official newspaper of the City with notice that a printed copy of the ordinance is available for inspection by any person during regular office hours at the Office of the City Clerk. Section 17. If this Section (1017) imposes a requirement different from other sections of the city code, the more restrictive section shall apply.
