Conduct a Public Hearing for Currency Exchange License <br />Renewal for Global Financial <br />Mayor Klausing opened the Public Hearing at b:28 p.m. <br />City Planner Thomas Paschke reviewed the requested application <br />for renewal and approval of their license by Currency Exchange <br />(Global Financial Outsource Services, Inc. — PF 3789) at various <br />locations in the City of Roseville. <br />Discussion included types of calls fielded over the last year by the <br />Police Department as they related to the applicant, with none <br />consisting of citizen complaints regarding operations. <br />Mayor Klausing closed the Public Hearing at 6:30 p.m., with no <br />one appearing for or against. <br />Pust moved, Kough seconded, approval of the requests by Global <br />Financial Outsource Services, Inc., 2216 County Road D(dlbla <br />Universal Check Cashing), Roseville, to renew their licenses to <br />operate currency exchange businesses in Roseville for the 2007 <br />calendar year. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Pust; Kough; Maschka; Ihlan and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br />Public Hearing <br />Currency Exchange <br />License Renewal <br />Global Financial <br />7. Canvass 2007 General Election Canvass 2007 <br />Interim City Manager Chris Miller reviewed statutory General Election <br />requirements. <br />Mayor Klausing confirmed with City Attorney Anderson that <br />those re-elected to municipal office had no reason to recuse <br />themselves from the motion and/or vote. <br />
