REQUEST FOR COUNCII, ACTION <br />DATE: � 2L � 8/06 <br />ITEM NO.: 3.� <br />Dc ar#ment Approval: ��r����� Agenda Section: <br />� �_ ���,� <br />�T� � -- �- --- -. _. ._. <br />Item Description: Adoption of a Resolutions Regarding Revisions to the City's Annual <br />Certificate of Mileage. <br />Background: As a Municipal State Aid (MSA) city, Roseville is statutorily entitled to Municipal <br />State Aid funding for 20% of our total street mileage. In order to document the total street mileage we <br />are required to annually ee�z�p our street mileage. In preparing this year's certificate of mileage, we <br />completed an audit and determined that a number of streets constructed in the past 10 years are not <br />included in our total City mileage. <br />In addition to new mileage, the reconstruction of South bwasso Boulevard that was completed this <br />year increased the overall street length by about 30 feet due to the curve constructed at Ladyslipper <br />Park. In order to update the County's sheet centerline data we need to vacate the old sheet right- o� <br />way and rededicate the new right- of- way.
