The Interim Chief believes in bringing every voice to the table in order to develop a quailty, long-range plan. The Global Synergy Team has been instrumental in facilitating focus groups, interpreting data, and providing reports for the fire team and Mayor Coleman. Falcon Heights Human Rights Comission The City of Falcon Heights decided to hire Global Synergy Group to guide a group facilitation project. The goal of the project was to facilitate a strategic planning workshop to help guide the cities Human Rights Commission's work by providing a road map for the next several years. The outcomes for the project include forming goals, clarification of the organizations image, and mission of the commission: City of Edina Energy and Environment Commission The Energy & Environment Commission of Edina was established in Apri12007 to help the City stay on the forefront of issues of energy usage and environmental sustainability. This organization is currently faced. with 5 different objectives and chose to work with Global Synergy Group because of their experience and expertise in the area of strategic planning and focus groups. The goal of the planning was to establish a work plan for their objectives, as well as to providea refined mission and scope of work. All was completed with the notion of using the cities resources most effectively by focusing them on key issues. Strategic Planning Overview Strategic planning is a common service offered in order to give organizations direction over short and long-term time periods. It is also about providing an organization with a plan to move in that direction and criteria to measure the plans progress. Organic strategic planning It is also important to note that the way the strategic plan is developed for an organization is determined by considering several factors including the leadership, culture, environment, size, abilities of staff, etc. With all these factors to consider, Global Synergy Group is able to custom design each program to meet the unique needs of each organization.
