Global Synergy Group ~ Archive ~ Projects <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />The global objective of this review is to assess current operational processes, (systems, organization structure, <br />and resources) and develop recommendations for realignment with the Mission, Vision, and Strategic Plan of <br />the City. <br />The process will move through the following phases: <br />1.Analy sis Planning Meeting <br />2.Assessment P hase <br />3.Data F findings Report Development <br />4.Fe edback & Joint Diagnosis <br />S.R ecommendations Development <br />Barron County <br />Being able to develop a strategic, long-term plan for any organization is essential for that organization to grow <br />and thrive. Barron County chose to hire Global Synergy Group to gather information and ideas from the <br />residents of Barron County about the quality of life, services, and future directions for the county. Richard <br />Fursman was able to merge the efforts of the City Council and residents, as well as the students from the local <br />area high school and Community College of Barron 'County to discover what people liked about living in the <br />area. The information was gathered using appreciative inquiry and was used to help the County Board develop <br />its long-range vision and strategic plan. <br />City of Medina <br />The City of Medina has found that its growth has brought about positive change to its organization, and because <br />of its mission to have a solid team foundation, decided to re-examine working relationships and teamwork. <br />Through organization assessment and team building practices, management wanted to find and grow areas of <br />quality relationships and processes while continuing to build a solid team. Experts here at Global Synergy <br />Group worked closely with city employees to not only assess their current view points of the organization, but <br />they also provided these employees with skills on how to best use individual team members. strengths and <br />differences to work most effectively as a team. <br />City of Vasilkov Ukraine <br />The local Government in Vasilkov, Ukraine, teamed up with Organization Development professional Richard <br />Fursman to help with organizing and managing Civic Change for Sustainable and Democratic Development. <br />The main focus of the project is leadership development among city officials and citizens. Those in leadership <br />positions also expressed their desire to increase the participation of citizens, develop local leadership, and gain <br />greater autonomy for local decision making. <br />City of Crystal <br />The City of Crystal chose Global Synergy Group to work closely with a key leader in their organization in <br />order to build conflict resolution skills through coaching. In order to best coach this key leader, the Global <br />Synergy Team first completed a performance review to indentify both their strengths and weaknesses so as to <br />discover where they were, and which areas were in need of the most growth. Goals and expectations from <br />both the leader and the management team were then developed in order to create a development plan. By having <br />goals and expectations, the management team of Crystal is able to track progress and identify areas that may <br />need more attention.
