Item II <br />Update on Community Forum Planning <br />Roseville Human Rights Commission <br />Cultural Complementarity Dialogue <br />1. Purpose of the dialogue <br />To continue our dialogue by listening to each other; welcoming diversity; and opening up <br />opportunities for genuine relationships. In the process we will learn from and about each other <br />and enrich our knowledge of ourselves as individuals and as a community. <br />2. Date, time, location <br />Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. start with a light meal <br />Olympic Room at the Roseville Skating Center, 2661 Civic Center Drive <br />3. Dialogue partners/sponsors <br />Received contributions from: <br />$200 JC Penney <br />$100 RVA <br />$100 Anonymous donation in honor of the Diversity Committee of the League of Women Voters <br />of Roseville, Maplewood and Falcon Heights <br />Anticipating donations from: <br />$200 RAS District 623 <br />$200 Roseville Rotary <br />$100 Northwestern College <br />$100 Rose Hill Alliance Church <br />Other possible sources: <br />Macys <br />Roseville Community Fund <br />City of Roseville <br />4. Target audience/invitees for the dialogue <br />We have created flyers which will be printed within next week. All Commissioners and Forum <br />Planners will receive copies in the mail and through email for you to distribute wherever you can <br />-churches, library, coffee shops, local businesses etc. <br />Staff will email- invitations to last year attendees, current and past commissioners, elected <br />officials, and others. All commissioners and forum planners will receive an electronic version of <br />the letter and are encouraged to send them individually. <br />5.
