B acicground <br />Planning Commission <br />The Roseville City Code requires the City Council to appoint the Chair of the <br />Planning Commission "at the first regular City Council meeting of each calen- <br />dar year." RCC 201��,�, <br />Jim Mulder is the current chair of the Planning Commission. His term as a <br />Commission member expires March 31, 2005. <br />II. Recommendation <br />I recommend you reappoint Mr. Mulder as Chair of the Planning Commission <br />for the remainder of his term. Between now and March 31�a you can thinlc <br />about which Commission Member you would lilce to see serve as Chair of the <br />Planning Commission after March 315t. The current Vice-Chair of the Planning <br />Commission is Marlc Traynor. <br />III. Council Action <br />Motion to reappoint Jim Mulder as Chair of the Planning Commission until his <br />term on the Commission expires March 31, 2C�05. <br />
