The City Code, Signage Section 1009.031 states "City aa�d <br />Public Signs: Except for traffic-relatedsignage, all permanent city, school or other <br />governmental unit signage including flags must be approved by the City Council." <br />L.? For 2005 the Departments prepared the attached list of signage requirements for the entire <br />year, recognizing that some events may change dates or times slightly. <br />9.� The signs and displays must adhere to sign code setback and traff'ic safety line-of-sight <br />provisions, except for directional signage, which may be at the property line. <br />�.4 STAFF RECOMMENDATIONS <br />Staff recommends the Council approve the 2005 sign permit for City uses and promotions as <br />listed in the attached summary. <br />3�� SUGGESTED COUNCIL ACTION <br />By motion, approve the 2005 sign permit for City uses and promotions as listed in the 2005 <br />Sign Summary, dated O1/10/O5. <br />�.�����r�� <br />� <br />PF3371 - RCA 011005 <br />
