Land use proj ects impacts to the transportation system — How do we prepare to <br />meet these challenges? <br />We would invite the Council to engage in discussion of common themes related to transportation <br />issues presented by the three agencies. We seek Council direction and input as we continue to <br />work toward improving the transportation system in and around Roseville. We will present City <br />staff thoughts on what tools the City will need to make the decisions that will guide us into the <br />transportation future. <br />POSSIBLE COUNCIL OPTIONS: <br />l. Direct Staffwhether to prepare a Resolution indicating City Council support for <br />one or more specified transportation funding proposals. <br />2. Direct Staff, with the assistance of a traffic consultant on a contract not to exceed <br />$5,000, to prepare and make a presentation for the City Council and the Planning <br />Commission regarding how traffic is measured and how congestion can be <br />mitigated, <br />3.
