Step 6— Evaluate �t� Feasibility of Connectingthe RSVC Arena to the John Rose Oval's Refrigeration System. If this option is selected the evaluation will be performed beiween Steps 2 and 3 listed above. During this step v� will: ■ Evaluate the feasibility of connecting the RSVC ice rink floor to the John Rose Oval's refrigeration system Write a letter report including and discussing the following: A general description of the iwo facilities (RSVC Arena and the Oval) and the refrigeration demand requirements including evaluating the existing refrigeration capacityof each facilities and the required refrigeration capacity if the iwo facilities are combined. Evaluation of physical obstacles such as the distance between the Oval's refrgeration system and the RSVC Arena and its effect on system efficiency and construction costs. Evaluation of seasonal demands on the common refrigeration system including determining if the Oval's large refrigeration system can adequately and efficiently serve a single ice sheet application during the summer months. Estimate of probable construction costs for the piping connection between the Oval's refrigeration system and the RSVC Arena and all required modifications to the Oval's refrigeration system to accommodate this addition. Evaluation of the existing direct refrigeration system package currently serving the RSVC Arena and recommendationsfor improvements or replacementoptions including improvements to the existing package system, replacementwith a like system, and replacement with an indirect system. Estimates of probable construction costs for all of the options discussed will be provided. This information will allow the City to evaluate all of the options for renovating the RSVC ice rink floor and equipment. , Estimate of probable construction costs for the ice rink floor replacement in the RSVC Arena with a like direct system design and an indirect system design. Review the findings and cost estimates with the City. � If the option of serving the two facilities with a common refrigeration system is determined feasible and the City approves this option v� will provide the City with a revised design proposal to include this change based on the determined scope of the project. If ihe City approves other recommended improvements to the RSVC Arena we will provide the City with a revised design proposal based on the scope of the project(s).
