City Council Regular Meeting — O1/31/05 <br />DRAFT Minutes - Page 14 <br />behalf of the Coordinating Committee, announced and <br />invited Mayor Klausing, Councilmembers Ihlan, Kough, <br />Maschka and Schroeder, as well as residents, to the 2005 <br />Home and Garden Fair, to be held on Saturday, February <br />26, 2005 at the Fairview Community Center Gymnasium, <br />1910 W County Road B, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. <br />Ms. Bennett reviewed various informational and media <br />sources to obtain additional information; and recognized <br />this year's corporate sponsors. Ms. Bennett noted that this <br />year's fair was proving to be the largest yet, and that the <br />corporate sponsorship served to offset costs, allowing <br />continuation of free admission. This year's corporate <br />sponsors include: Deck and Door Company; Kath Heating <br />and Air; Linder's Greenhouse & Garden Center; New <br />Windows for America; No Place Like Home; Renewal by <br />Andersen; Temo Sunrooms; and Wenzel Heating and Air; <br />along with one regular sponsor, Morr Construction. <br />S.c Proclamation of Black History Month <br />City Manager Beets reviewed the Roseville Proclamation <br />declaring February 2005 as Black History Month in the <br />City of Roseville; and highlighted several important events <br />that significantly marked this special recognition. <br />Mayor Klausing thanked the Human Rights Commission <br />for bringing this important event to the attention of the <br />community. <br />Klausing moved, Ihlan seconded, approval of a <br />proclamation designating February 2005 to be Black <br />History Month in the City of Roseville. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Maschka, Kough, Schroeder, Ihlan and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br />Proclamation of <br />Black History <br />Month <br />S.d Roseville Visitor's Association (RVA) Annual Report to RVA <br />the City Council Annual Report <br />Mayor Klausing welcomed and introduced Roseville <br />Visitor's Association (RVA) Executive Director Dino <br />
