City Council Regular Meeting — O1/31/05 <br />DRAFT Minutes - Page 17 <br />discussions; and his willingness to concede if a date is set for <br />Council discussion of the entire package of Council Rules and <br />Procedures. <br />City Manager Beets was directed to contact Councilmembers for <br />the purpose of scheduling a Special Saturday Council <br />Worksession for discussion of City Council General Operational <br />Procedures. <br />Councilmember Schroeder reiterated his concern that the <br />Council get organized and achieve a direction; or plan more <br />meetings to get the City's business completed at a decent time to <br />allow more productivity at meetings and at their jobs. <br />Klausing moved, Schroeder seconded, to table action on the <br />original motion pending the outcome of the proposed Saturday <br />Worksession of the City Council to discussion general <br />operational procedures. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Maschka, Kough, Schroeder, Ihlan and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br />15. Council Member Rotating Seating Assignment <br />Councilmember Schroeder proposed rotation of City <br />Councilmember seating assignments on a monthly basis, in <br />accordance with voting order; in order to provide a different <br />perspective of the audience, as he had previously requested at an <br />earlier meeting. <br />Councilmember Maschka concurred. <br />Staff was directed to rotate seating assignments on a monthly <br />basis, in accordance with the voting order, beginning with <br />the next regularly scheduled meeting. <br />16.
