Roseville City Council 2002-2003 Standing Rules and Procedures (Tentative O1/03/02) Revised 4/22/02 & 07/15/02 Rule 1—Adoption and Amendment of Rules These rules shall be in effect for the 2002-2003 biennium. Any proposed amendments to the rules shall be made in writing and adopted by resolution of the City Council. These rules maybe suspended by a simple maj ority of the full Council. Rule 2 — Meeting Meetings of the City Council shall be held at City Hall. Work sessions will begin at 5:30pm, with regular meetings held at �:OOpm_ Appropriate notice and agenda information shall be posted on the City Hall bulletin hoard, Web site, and government access cable television. The City Manager will be responsible for notifying all Council members and the public of special meetings called pursuant to state law. Regular meetings of the Council shall be broadcast live on government access cable TV barring technical difficulties where delayed broadcast may substitute. Other meetings of the Council may be cablecast at the discretion of the Council. Rule 3— Order of Business for Regular Meetings Work Sessions 5:30pm I. Target) The Mayor, with the assistance of the City Manager, shall be responsible for the selection of the items on agenda and shall reasonably accommodate the members of the council and community. Any individual Council member may request that an item he added to the agenda and the city
