EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE, RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />Date: 02128105 <br />Item: S.a <br />p��xn� & Garden �h����"� <br />��c,l�nie�.r� � �P�r��c7t� <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center Drive, <br />Roseville, Minnesota, on Monday, the 2$`�' day of February, 2005, at 5�00 p.m. <br />The following members were present: <br />and tl�e following members were absent: <br />Member introduced il�e followi��g resolution and moved its adoption: <br />— RESOLUTION NO. <br />— RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION FOR <br />— SPONSORS AND VOLUNTEERS OF THE <br />— 2005 HOME AND GARDEN FAIR <br />WHEREAS, the City Council encourages community participation m city-wide events <br />and welcomes the participation and leadership of volunteers at such events; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City since 1997 has sponsored a Home and Garden Fair, as a part of its <br />Housing Program, and as a means of reinvesting in the community; and <br />WHEREAS, the Home and Garden Fair has become increasingly popular with the vital <br />participation of the Corporate Sponsors and Regular Sponsors of the Fair; and <br />WHEREAS, on February 26,2005 the ninth annual Home and Garden Fair was held with <br />the participation of over 48 exhibitors and 1,000 visitors to the Fair (within a five-hour period); <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE TI` RESOLVED, that the Roseville City Council hereby <br />acknowledges and wishes to express their appreciation to the Sponsors and the Home and Garden <br />Coordinating Committee volunteers who successfully �la���aed and implemented all the activities <br />to assure the Fair's success: <br />Private Corporate Sponsors: <br />Linder's Greenhouse & Garden Center <br />Renewal by Andersen <br />Temo Sunrooms of Minnesota <br />New Windows for America <br />Wenzel Heating & Air <br />Kath Heating & Air <br />Deck and Door <br />No Place Like Home <br />Private Regular Sponsor: <br />Morr Construction Company <br />Members of the Home and Garden Fair Coordinating Committee: <br />Julia Heath, Lillie Suburban Newspapers <br />Shirley Friberg, Community Volunteer <br />Polly Heaton, Fairview Community Center <br />Lynnae LeBarran, Roseville Senior Program <br />Jeff Evenson & Jill Anfang, Roseville Parks & Recreation <br />Carolyn Curti &Tim Pratt, Roseville Administration <br />Cathy Bennett and Pat Morrison, Roseville Community DeveiopmentlHRA <br />
