We will continue to work with <br />Parks and Recreation and include any changes to the pond design in the project feasibility <br />report. <br />Closing road.l Detour: In order to realign the road it will be necessary to close S. pwasso <br />Boulevard for a period of time. We will be considering the timing and length of this closure, <br />as well as proposing how to manage detoured traffic <br />Scheduling: Initially we had proposed to have the S. Qwasso Boulevard reconstruction <br />project as a two phase project to be undertaken in 2005 and 2006. To allow for the <br />development of the Ladyslipper Park Master Plan, we have delayed completion of the <br />feasibility report for this project. We wanted to ensure that all options were explored in the <br />road planning process. At this time, due to state aid review, potential for additional data <br />gathering and geotechnical design, we do not feel Phase I can be completed in 2005. We will <br />be considering project phasing, schedule and scope as we prepare the feasibility report. <br />V. SUMMARY <br />When the City Council gives staff direction regarding the proposed Ladyslipper Park Master <br />Plan and the alignment of South Owasso Street, City staff will complete the feasibility report <br />for the South Qwasso Boulevard project. Included in this report will be a schedule, phasing <br />plan, and engineering analysis of the proposed project. Additional discussion of project <br />financing as well as impacts to the surrounding neighborhood will be a part of this overall <br />report. <br />� <br />� <br />� <br />
