Compensation <br />We will provide the professionalengineering services as outlined in this proposal for the following <br />compensation: <br />Design Phase Services (Steps � through 3): <br />Construction Phase Services (Step 4): <br />Evaluation of Plate and Frame Option (Step 5): <br />Hourly, Not-to-Exceed $16,500 plus reimbursable <br />expenses. <br />Hourly, plus reimbursableexpenses <br />(Estimate of hourly fee = $6,500 + reimbursable) <br />Hourly, Not-to-Exceed $2,500 plus reimbursable <br />expenses. <br />Evaluation of Improvements to RSVC Arena (Step 6j:H�urly, Not-to-Exceed $3,000 plus reimbursable <br />expenses. <br />If the improvements in Steps 5 and 6 are approved after the evaluation phase of the project we will provide <br />the City with a revised proposal for Design and Construction Phase Services to incorporate the desired <br />change in the project scope. <br />Other required design serviceswill be provided on an hourly basis in accordancewith the General <br />EngineeringFee Schedule in addition to the fee stated above. <br />Reimbursable expenses will be charged in accordance with the attached fee schedule. The City will be <br />responsibleforallapplicationand permitfees. Wewill bill the City monthlyforservicesand Reimbursable <br />Expenses. <br />We will also provide such additional services as requested by the City. These services will be billed at our <br />standard hourly rates in accordancewith the attached fee schedule. This fee schedule is valid through <br />December 31,2005. Any services furnished after December 31,2005 will be charged in accordancewith <br />our 2006 fee schedule. We will not increase any item on the fee schedule by more than 3.5°/o for work <br />�erfQrmed in 2006. <br />Additional Terms and Conditions <br />If there are protracted delays for reasons beyond our control, we would expect to negotiate with the City an <br />equitable adjustmentofourcompensationtaking into consid�ratio� the impactof such delay. <br />We request that the City furnish us with full information as �� their requirements including any special or <br />extraordinary considerations forthe Project or special services needed, and also to make available all <br />pertinentexisting data. <br />We propose that our services will be provided under the General Provisions consisting of two pages and <br />one page of General Engineering Fee Schedule which are attached to and made a parfi of our agreement <br />Mr. Lonnie Brokke, Directorof Parks and Recreation <br />,lanuary 26,2005 Page 6 of 7 <br />
