�I <br />Opportunity Area 5 <br />Opportunity Area 5 is comprised of one Site (5-1) located southeast of the intersection of <br />Fauview Avenue North and Terrace Drive. This Site is referred to as the I-��gen Ventures Site. <br />This Area encompasses about 5.85 acres and has been occupied by a t�ucl� ter�ninallservice and <br />maintenance shop since the late 1950s. <br />The results of previous environmental site assessment activities that address this Area include the <br />following: <br />+ Lixnited Environmental Site Assessment Report, DPRA, Project No. S781A003.OQ01, <br />July, 2002. <br />* Phase I Environmental Site Assessment, AET, Project No. 03-01578.2875, August 11, <br />2003. <br />i Phase II Investigation, DPRA, Project No. 5781,0OO1.p001, April 26, 2001 (Segment <br />N). <br />* Groundwater Evaluation Report, DPRA, Proj ect No. 5781.0003.0001, August, 2003. <br />+ Supplemental Groundwater Evaluation Report, DPRA, Project No. 5781.04U3.UOOi, <br />August, 2004. <br />Environmental Conditions identified at Area 5 include the following: <br />� Underground Storage Tank (UST) and Leaking Underground Storage Tank (LUST) site. <br />• Use as a truck terminal. <br />w Staining of parking surface. <br />* Adjacent Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) Voluntary Investigation and <br />Cleanup (VIC) and Leaking Underground Storage Tank (LUST) sites. <br />Additional environmental assessment to be performed includes the following: <br />. Assess UST and LUST basins to identify magnitude and ext�t of subsurface impacts. <br />. Assess areas of oil-water separators, drains, underground piping, etc. within buildings for <br />evidence of subsurface impacts. <br />• Assess areas of surface staining for evidence of subsurface impacts. <br />+ Assess areas of Area 5 that are adjacent to VIC and LUST sites for evidence of <br />subsurface impacts. <br />
