Opportunity Area 8 <br />Opportunity Area 8 is comprised of three Sites (8-1 through 8-3) located northwest of the <br />intersection of �'aa�view Avenue North and Terrace Drive. This Area is referred to as the Northco <br />Site and encompasses about 7.81 acres. Two of the Sites have been used for industrial purposes <br />since about the mid 1970s and the third Site has been used as a stormwater retention pond since <br />the mid 1990s. <br />The results of previous environmental site assessment activities that address this Area include the <br />following: <br />. Phase I Environmental Site Assessment, DPRA, Project No. 5781.0001, July, �QQa <br />(Segment IV). <br />• Limited Environmental Site Assessment Report, DPRA, Project No. 5781.0003.0001, <br />July, 2002. <br />• GroundwaterEvaluation Report, DPRA, Project No. 5781.0403.00Ot, August, 2003. <br />* Supplemental Groundwater Evaluation Report, DPRA, Project No. 5781.0003.0001, <br />August, 2004. <br />Environmental Conditions identified at Area 8 include the following: <br />� UST & LUST site. <br />. Use as a truck tercninal. <br />• Staining of parking surface. <br />• Adjacent LUST site. <br />Additional ez�viraaGa�nenta� assessment to be performed includes the following: <br />■ Perform a Phase I ESA. <br />• Assess Underground Storage Tank (UST) and Leaking Underground Storage Tank <br />(LUST) basins to identify magnitude and extent of subsurface impacts. <br />� Assess areas of oil-water separators, drains, underground piping, etc. within buildings for <br />evidence of subsurface impacts. <br />• Assess areas of surface staining for evidence of subsurface impacts. <br />. Assess areas that are adjacentto LUST site for evidence of subsurfaceimpacts. <br />� <br />
