� <br />Compensation <br />We will provide the professional engineering services as outlined in this proposal for the following <br />compensation: <br />Design Phase Services (Steps 1 through 3): <br />Construction Phase Services (Step 4): <br />Evaluation of Plate and Frame Option (Step 5): <br />Hourly, Not-to-Exceed$16,500 plus reimbursable <br />expenses. <br />Hourly, plus reimbursable expenses <br />(Estimate of hourly fee = $6,500 � reimbursable) <br />Hourly, Not-to-Exceed $2,500 plus reimbursable <br />expenses. <br />Evaluation of Improvements to RSVC Arena (Step 6);H�urfyF Not-to-Exceed $3,000 plus reimbursable <br />expenses. <br />If the improvements in Steps 5 and 6 are approved after the evaluation phase of the project we will provide <br />the City with a revised proposal for Design and Construction Phase Servicesto incorporate the desired <br />change in the project scope. <br />Other required design services will be provided on an hourly basis in accordance with the General <br />EngineeringFee Schedule in addition to the fee stated above. <br />Reimbursable expenses will be charged in accordance with the attached fee schedule. The City will be <br />responsiblefor all application and permit fees. We will bill the City monthly for services and Reimbursable <br />Expenses. <br />We will also provide such additional services as requested by the City. These services will be billed at our <br />standard hourly rates in accordance with the attached fee schedule. This fee schedule is valid through <br />December31,2005. AnyservicesfurnishedafterDecember31,2005 willbechargedinaccordancewith <br />our 2006 fee schedule. We will not increase any iter� on the fee schedule bv more than 3.5% for work <br />performed in 2006. <br />Additional Terms and Conditions <br />If there are protracted delays for reasons beyond our c�ntrql, we would expect to negotiate with the City an <br />equitable adjustmentof our compensation taking into consideration the impact of such delay. <br />We request that the City furnish us with fult information as to their requirements including any special or <br />extraor�inary considerations for the Project or special s�ruice� needed, and also to make available all <br />pertinent existing data. <br />We propose that our s�rvices will be provided under the General Provisions consisting of two pages and <br />one page of General Engineering Fee Schedule which are attached to and made a part of our agreement <br />Mr. Lonnie Brold�e, Directorof Parks and Recreation <br />January 26,2005 Page f of 7 <br />
