The provision of a snow removal plan that eliminates any of the parking areas
adjacent to the addition, specifically the theater, from temporary or permanent
snow storage (the Mall has proposed a snow melting operation as an alternative).
The City Planner has reviewed snow removal planning with Jones Lang
_ LaSalle in greater detail than that which is provided in the narrative.
Specifically, the discussion concentrated on staging locations for temporary
snow storage and the manner in which snow is transferred to the melting
machine and development of a plan sheet to be incorporated into the PUD.
The provision of a signage plan for both building facade signage and any proposed
monumentipylon signs. Facade signs
would be bacic-lit or internally-lit channel letters (can include corporate logo)
or a wall mounted projection sign. Theater signage will be permitted per the
submitted elevations. The boolcstore signage will be allowed a north facing
and south facing sign.
The provision of a life-safety and security plan for the renovation and addition, to
be completed in coordination with the City's Police and Fire Departments prior to
final approvals of the PUD. The DRC has discussed li#'elsafety issues
pertaining to the serviceldelivery area proposed on the lower level of the
addition, and concluded that three cameras must be installed, one inside the
serviceldelivery corridor and one at each end (eastlwest} of the structure, and
all being connected to the existing security system to monitor serviceldelivery
activities.
7.2 The City Planner and Community Development Director have determined that the
proposed uses are consistent with the regional mall master PLTD plan of 2000 and
recommend approval of the AMENDED PLANNED iJNIT DEVELOPMENT -
AGREEMENT for Prime Property Fund, LLC (through agent Jones Lang -aSalle} to
allow approximately 182,386 sq. ft, replacement (Mervyn's} and expansion to the east
side of Rosedale Center.
PF3608_RCA_FinalDevelopment_0509fl5 Page 12 of 13
