County Road B-2 and through the parking/traf�ic movement areas that will <br />improve pedestrian access to the mall, lifestyle center, and theater. The Public <br />Worlcs Department is in the process of obtaining the necessary easements to <br />reconstruct the existing trail along the south side of County Road B2. The <br />proposed Final Development Plan includes pedestrian tr�x�ls�dewalk <br />connections from County Road B2 (including a clearly marlced crosswallc) to <br />the lower level shops; from the ring-road parlcing lot adj acent to County <br />Road B2 to the transit hubltheater (including a clearly marlced crosswallc); <br />from the ring roadl�ark-and-ride lot adj acent to Highway 36 to the transit <br />hubltheater (including a clearly marlced crosswallc); an elaborate pedestrian <br />plaza, including an elevator and stair connection from the lower level <br />parlcing lotlshpps to the upper level parlcing lot, and pedestrian <br />�athlwal�way in front of both upper and lower level shops and extending to <br />the major mall entries adjacent to Green Mill and Big Bowl; and bus picic-up <br />and drop-off near Big Bpwl/�acaroni Grill. Access to the theater must be <br />provided from both parking lots. This will require a direct pedestrian access from <br />the lower level (west) ��;� rk i n�; lot. The revised proposal includes an elaborate <br />plazalpedestrian connection that runs between the retail shopslrestaurant <br />addition and the retail shopsliheater structures. This plazalpedestrian <br />connection provides a direct linlc between the lower level parlcing lot and the <br />upper level parlcing lot. <br />e. The Public Works Department must complete the review and approve of the <br />grading, drainage, sidewalk and trail, and utility plans proposed with the General <br />Concept and Final Plan submittal. All plans, including the location of fire <br />hydrants (per Fire Marshal) and utility services connections, require the approval <br />of the Public Works Department. In addition, the applicant is required to receive <br />the approval of the storm water management plan by the Rice Creek Watershed, <br />prior to the Final Planned Unit Development Plan approval by the City Council. <br />The Public Worlcs Department has reviewed the Final Development <br />submittal pertaining to utility, grading, and drainage plans and approved <br />these plans. However, some of the issues regarding placement of fire <br />hydrants andlor siamese connections will not be finalized until such time as <br />the building plans are submitted for building permit review by the Building <br />Inspection staff and the Fire Marshal. Further, the final storm water <br />management plan has been submitted to the Rice Creelc Watershed for <br />permit approval. <br />f. The provision of a lighting plan for the all revised parking lots and the building, <br />which plan must meet the requirements of Section 1010.12.
