A patron has the ability to malce a trip to this center and decide among the <br />restaurant offerings before or after the show. Theatres and restaurants are <br />complimentary uses in the marlcet. Moreover, boolcstores also perform well in the <br />entertainment program, they provide appropriate venues, "browsing time" if you will, <br />and shopping before or after a movie, similar to a restaurant. Talcen collectively, these <br />entertainment tenants are visible from the highway and are recognized as such by the <br />customers passing by this area. The intent is to establish this entire area as a <br />grouplen��rtainment zone; hence highway visibility is important. It is important to note <br />that the entertainment zone creates additional trips to the center from its customer base. <br />This experience might not include shopping every time, but by offering a more <br />complete array of experiences, we can offer the consumer more reasons to visit this <br />center. <br />In terms of design, this area, too, will be pedestrian focused; the plaza, sidewallcs, store <br />— designs will all embody this direction. Again, we will utilize bricic, stone and canopies <br />at the store entrances. In addition, we are providing a drop-off area in front of the <br />theatre in order to facilitate our consumers' arrival. The upper and lower areas will <br />_ have the same architecture and style. Additionally, the theatre plaza provides a <br />connecting element between the upper and lower shopping venues in order to further <br />integrate the shopping experience. <br />And finally, as the managing agent for the owner, our (Jones Lang �,aSa11e's) role in <br />this proj ect is to develop and deliver the proj ect. We are responsible to ownership to <br />execute the collective teams' objectives to strengthen Rosedale Center and provide a <br />more complete experience for the consumer.
