REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br />Date: 6/13/2005 <br />Item No: 3,� <br />Department Approval: Manager Approved: Agenda Section: <br />� .�: ,��e <br />�'��t <br />Item Description: Renewal of a Permit to Conduct Lawful Gambling Activities at 2350 <br />Cleveland Avenue (Joe Senser's Restaurant) <br />Background <br />The Suburban Law Enforcement Association (SLEA) has submitted an application to renew <br />lawful gambling activities at Joe Senser's restaurant located at 2350 Cleveland Avenue in <br />Roseville. <br />The City currently has three licensed organizations conducting Bingo activities at the Bingo Hall. <br />In addition, there are five other permitted organizations conducting pu�ltab operations at various <br />locations. Under City Code, eight separate premise locations are allowed including the Bingo <br />Hall. <br />Staff Recommendations <br />Staff has reviewed this application and is recommending approval of the renewal for Suburban <br />Law Enforcement to conduct lawful gambling at 2350 Cleveland Avenue. <br />Council Action Requested <br />Motion to approve the renewal application for Suburban Law Enforcement Association, to <br />conduct lawful gambling activities at Joe Senser's Restaurant, located at 2350 Cleveland Avenue <br />in Roseville. <br />
