City Co�ncil Regu�ar Meeting — 0�/20105 <br />DRAFT Minutes - Page 33 <br />City Planner, Thomas Paschke, was present to answer <br />Council questions and comments. <br />Councilmember Ihlan noted that she had numerous <br />questions af staff related to this action request and their <br />staff report, and questioned if it was necessary to take <br />action tonight, or if the Council could act at another time, <br />given the lateness of the hour. <br />A brief Counci� discussion ensued regarding continuing the <br />request or �aking action at tonight's meeting. <br />Mayor Klausing questianed what would be gained by <br />additional time; and opined that he had bc�n involved w�th <br />�he project for almost two years, and was aware of the <br />various aspects. <br />Councilmember Kough opined that the Council could <br />postpone action until after the caurt case an Wednesday <br />concerning pending litigation. <br />Further discussion included park land dedication fees. <br />Councilmember Schroeder noted the lateness of the hour, <br />and opined that it was time to move forward. <br />Schraeder mov�d, Maschka seconded, approval of an <br />Amendment to the Master Site P�an to ailow £or the <br />Rattlund (Roseville Twin Lakes, LLC) Site Plan. <br />Councilmemb�r Ihlan spoke in opposition to th� mo�ion, <br />stating the need for a super �najority for Camprehensive <br />Plan ainendment. <br />At the request of Mayor Klausing, City Attorney Anderson <br />restated his legal opznzon tha� such an action didn'fi <br />constitute the amendinent cancerns addressed by <br />Councilmember Ihlan. <br />Roll CaII �12.1— Master Site Plan Amendment] <br />
