City Council Regular Meeting — 07/11/OS <br />DRAFT Minutes - Page 7 <br />public that the City of Roseville had received the Presentation <br />Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for the current Award <br />fiscal year from the Government Finance Officers <br />Association (GFOA). Acting Mayor Maschka presented <br />the award to Finance Director Chris Miller and <br />congratulated him and staff. <br />Mr. Miller noted that this was the 8th consecutive year the <br />City had been awarded; and was further awarded the <br />Comprehensive Annual Financial Report Award for the <br />24th consecutive year. <br />5.b National Night Out Proclamation National Night Out <br />City Manager Beets, read a proposed proclamation related Proclamation <br />to National Night Out. <br />Schroeder moved, Maschka seconded, approval of the <br />proclamation declaring Tuesday, August 2, 2005 as <br />"National Night Out" in Roseville; and calling upon all <br />Roseville citizens to join Roseville Neighborhood Watch <br />Groups, and the National Association of Town Watch in <br />supporting the '�°'� Annual National Night Out. <br />Mr. Beets noted that block and association application <br />materials and additional information could be obtained by <br />calling Heather Darby at 651-792-7209, or via the City's <br />Website under the Police Department. <br />Mr. Beets further noted that "Family Night Out in Central <br />�'arl�" was scheduled for Monday, August 1, 2005, from <br />5:00 —$:00 p.m., with numerous family activities planned <br />as a preamble to the "National Night Out" the following <br />evening. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Schroeder; Ihlan; Kough and Maschka. <br />Nays: None. <br />S.c Announcement about Metropolitan Transit's Metropolitan <br />Restructuring of the Roseville Circulator Bus Routes Transit's <br />Councilmember Ihlan noted the Metropolitan Council's Restructuring of <br />reprieve in restructuring and retaining several of the Circulator Bus <br />
