City Council Regular Meeting — 07/11/OS <br />DRAFT Minutes - Page 13 <br />Chamber of Commerce's interest in having the City of <br />Roseville become a member, along with other participating <br />communities. Mr. Johnson noted that their organization <br />was over 500 members strong, continued to grow, and was <br />"non-political." <br />Councilmember Kough noted that one of the advantages <br />for the City's membership would be re-involvement in the <br />I-35W Corridor Coalition, of which the Chamber was a <br />participant. Councilmember Kough opined that discussion <br />of inembership be included as part of the 2006 Budget <br />process. <br />Councilmember Schroeder clarified with Mr. Johnson that <br />the $500 was the only fee for membership. Mr. Johnson <br />answered affirmatively. <br />Acting Mayor Maschka directed City Manager Beets to <br />include discussion of inembership as part of the 2006 <br />Budget discussions. <br />Recess Recess <br />Acting Mayor Maschka recessed the meeting at approximately <br />$:00 p.m. and reconvened at $:47 p.m. <br />Public Hearing for South Qwasso Street Reconstruction from <br />Rice Street to Dale Street (continued) <br />Acting Mayor Maschka reconvened the Public Hearing for the <br />above-referencedproject at 8.07 p.m. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />Tom Stratton, 3000 Sandy Hook Drive <br />Mr. Stratton expressed concern with the long-term health of <br />several mature cottonwood trees on his property if the road is <br />located too far north.
