Roseville City Code allowing a semi truck and trailer parking operation on the vacant, paved site located at 2258 to 2880 Walnut Street based on the comments in Section 5 of the project report dated February 28,2005, and the following conditions: a. The temporary use (tr�ck trailer parking) must be limited to two years. Trailers must be common freight trailers, with a maximum of 300 stored on the site at any one time. Petro- chemical tankers are prohibited. Should the Meritex building at 2555 Walnut again lease space to companies who must have additional employee parking during the term of this IUP, Nleritex must remove trailer parking, reconfigure the parking lot, and allow for the needed passenger vehicle parking. b. The trailer parking area must have four entry points for security and contain and align the trailers in designated areas as per the safetylsecurity plan. Meritex must use "best management practices" to control dust, snow, spills, fires, and explosions. c. The applicant must submit a safetylsecurifiy plan for review by the Fire and Police Departments, and the IUP is subject to their approval of security and safety improvements. d. While stored on the site, all trailers must be locked. e. Street sweeping shall be used as necessary or as required by the Public Works or Community Development Department (per the City Street Cleaning Policy — attached) to reduce dirt from affecting adjacent roadway surfaces. f. The Interim Use Permit shall be allowed for a period of two years from August 2005 through August 2007. g. The issuance of an Interim Use Permit is no guarantee that the trailer parking use will be given permanent land use status, nor that the Interim Use Permit could even be extended.
