This proj ect has <br />previously received concept approval for the creation of a PUD consisting of 6 town homes, a first <br />reading of an ordinance rezoning the subject property, and preliminaryplat approval. <br />_� <br />--� <br />�,� <br />� <br />��. � <br />�_i� <br />1; <br />The east side development consisting of a 30 unit condominium received final approvals by the Council <br />on September 13, 2004 along with the Comprehensive Land Use Map Amendment for both sites. <br />PROJECT REVIEW HISTORY <br />•�naT Development Application Submitted: 7uly 29, 2005 <br />• Determined Complete: August 4, 2005 <br />� 60-Day Review Deadline: October 3,2005. <br />• City Council Action (final): August 22, 2005. <br />SUMMARY of RECOMMENDATION: <br />The Community Development Department finds the proj ect consistent with the concept approved in <br />2003 and therefore recommends approval, with conditions. <br />SUGGESTED ACTION: <br />Approve the following requests by United Properties: <br />a. BY MOTION, APPROVE the FINAL PLAT of The Villas at Midland Hills, Lots 1 through 6, <br />Block l, creating 6 home sites (to be individual detached unit instead of townhomes). <br />b. ADOPT an ORDINANCE REZONING Lots 1 through 6, Block 1 The Villas at Midland Hills <br />from R-1 Single Family Residence District to Planned Unit Development with an underlying <br />zoning of R-1 Single Family Residence District <br />c. <br />d. <br />ADOPT a RESOLUTION VACATING CETAIN PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENTS (as <br />identified and described in the resolution) that lie within Block 1 of The Villas of Midland F�Iil�s. <br />BY MOTION APPROVE the FINAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN (planned unit <br />development) and draft Planned Unit Development Site Plan and Agreement <br />P�3670_R.CA_082205 Page 1 of 6 <br />
