City Council Regular Meeting — 08/08/OS
DRAFT Minutes - Page 14
residents from both the Grandview Townhomes, as well as
single-family home property owners on Grandview. Ms. Bloom
advised Councilmembers that none of the property owners in
attendance were supportive of a public street located along the
west side of the church property, with concerns centered on
additional traffic, headlights directed toward their homes, noise
pollution, and frequency of emergency vehicle trips to the
nursing home; determining that they received no benefit from
construction of the new road.
Ms. Bloom noted that staff had continued working with
representatives of Real Life Church and owners of Rose of
Sharon, on the possibility of vacating Lovel Street and
constructing a new cul-de-sac along the west side of the Church
property, with 2— 3 draft plans, including a shared parking and
access plan benefiting both property owners. Mr.
Volin opined that while the church had been optimistic,
