City Council Study Session — 08/15/OS <br />DRAFT Minutes - Page 2 <br />a comprehensive, family-centered approach and enrolling <br />members in multiple programs to ensure high-quality client care. <br />Ms. Andrews reviewed changing and increasing needs; changing <br />demographics; specific demographics related to Roseville from <br />January � through June 30 and the actual City contract for 2005 <br />service in the budgeted amount of $45,253; with a total market <br />value of all services through June 30, estimated at $75,3b�.50. <br />Ms. Andrews reviewed contracted and non-contracted services <br />including, mental health; diversion services; youth nu� business; <br />senior chore seniors; senior chore youth; community social work; <br />FCSS; and "Project Engage." <br />Ms. Andrews noted that the NYFS was supported by nine city <br />partners, nine school district partners, collaborative partners <br />including, Suburban Ramsey Family Collaborative; Ramsey <br />County Children's Mental Health Collaborative; Ramsey County <br />Curfew and Truancy Collaborative; Keystone Community <br />Services; Northwest YMCA's; and Maple Pond Homes. <br />Mary Sue Hansen, Director of Suburban Ramsey Family <br />Collaborative (SRFC) <br />Ms. Hansen introduced their services and reviewed key risk <br />factors addressed by SRFC including, health, learning and <br />safetylsecurity risks. Ms. Hansen noted that key protective <br />factors included access to resources; opportunities for education, <br />employment and personal/professianal growth; high-quality <br />child care; informal social support; engaged/caring parenting and <br />parent connectedness; presence of a suppor�ive/caring adult; safe <br />and stable home environment; eliminating easy access to ATOD <br />and guns in the home; school connectedness; academic <br />competence and future aspirations; student civility; and cultural <br />competency. <br />Ms. Hansen noted the partners included in the Collaborative; <br />however, noted that they anticipated major funds disappearing in <br />July of 2006; thus the need to review new partnerships andlor <br />new perspectives. <br />Signs of hope, Mission Statement: "Connecting individuals, <br />
