The existing parking wi11 remain largely
untouched with the following exceptions: 1) the area where thc existing garage was
located wi11 be restored and a curb added connecting existing curbs; 2) parking spaces
adjacent to the new main entry will be striped to accomiodatc relocated accessible
parlting spaces; and 3) north edge of ZaazM. parking area wi11 be adjusted southward to
accommodate ofice addition, canopy drop off, new sidewalk and garden plantings.
Stonn Water Management: Storm watcr runoff froin new hard surfaces (i.e. new roof
areas) wi11 be treated to NURP water quality standards to the maxinun extent prctical.
Ponding for rate control requirements wi11 be accatzxodatad with a tank located below
the worship area. This {u» wi11 be oversized with the overage designed ta retain water to
accommodate water quality standards. Existing hard surface conditions wi11 be largely
unaltered with the exception that remediation to an existing condition wi11 occur where
water drains to the west. A depression armored with rirap wi11 be created immediately
surrounding the outlet of the existing star water discharge pipe (see drawing Sheet 2).
Life Safety and Accessibility: This project wi11 include a number of code related
improvements that wi11 malce the existing facility (though canpliazt at the time it was
constructed) compliant with current state codes. Amenities such as toilets wi11 be
replaced such that they are fu11y accessible at the main 1eve1. The building wi11 be
provided with an automatic ire suppression system and construction systems retrofitted
to bring the facility into compliance with current State Life Safety Code.
