EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 26" day of September, 2005, at F:O� <br />p.m. <br />The following members were present: Mayor Klausing, and Council Members Ihlan, <br />Kough, Maschka, and Schroeder <br />Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVINGA 2-U2 FOOT VARIANCE TO SECTION 703.Q4B9 <br />AND A 70 FOOT VARIANCE TO SECTION 1004.016 OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY <br />CODE FOR RICK BOSCHEE, 2808 LAKEVIEW AVENUE (PF3G69} <br />WHEREAS, Rick Boschee (property owner) has requested a VARIANCE to Section <br />703.04B9 (Driveways on Private Property) and 1004.016 (Residential Dwelling Dimensions — <br />Lot Width) of the Roseville City Code to allow the creation of a developable residential parcel; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the property is legally described as: <br />SEE EXHIBIT "A" <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.016 (Residential Dimensional Requirements — Lot Width) <br />requires all new single family residential parcels or lots to have a minimum of 85 feet of width <br />along a public street or right-of-way; and <br />WHEREAS, the proposal by Mr. Boschee seeks to create a parcel with a width of <br />15 feet of adjacent to �akeview Avenue; and <br />WHEREAS, Section 703.04�9 (Driveways on Private Property) requires a driveway to <br />have a minimum setback from a side yard property line of 5 feet; and <br />WHEREAS, the proposal by Mr. Boschee seeks to place a 10 foot wide driveway in t�,e <br />center of the 15 foot wide parcel for most of its length which places the driveway 2-112 feet from <br />the north and south side yard property lines; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on September 7, <br />_ 2005 concluding that "hardships" are present and support can be given to deviate from the strict <br />requirements of the Roseville City Code; <br />rt <br />
