EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 26" day of September, 2005, at F:O� p.m. The following members were present: Mayor Klausing, and Council Members Ihlan, Kough, Maschka, and Schroeder Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION APPROVINGA 2-U2 FOOT VARIANCE TO SECTION 703.Q4B9 AND A 70 FOOT VARIANCE TO SECTION 1004.016 OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR RICK BOSCHEE, 2808 LAKEVIEW AVENUE (PF3G69} WHEREAS, Rick Boschee (property owner) has requested a VARIANCE to Section 703.04B9 (Driveways on Private Property) and 1004.016 (Residential Dwelling Dimensions — Lot Width) of the Roseville City Code to allow the creation of a developable residential parcel; and WHEREAS, the property is legally described as: SEE EXHIBIT "A" WHEREAS, Section 1004.016 (Residential Dimensional Requirements — Lot Width) requires all new single family residential parcels or lots to have a minimum of 85 feet of width along a public street or right-of-way; and WHEREAS, the proposal by Mr. Boschee seeks to create a parcel with a width of 15 feet of adjacent to �akeview Avenue; and WHEREAS, Section 703.04�9 (Driveways on Private Property) requires a driveway to have a minimum setback from a side yard property line of 5 feet; and WHEREAS, the proposal by Mr. Boschee seeks to place a 10 foot wide driveway in t�,e center of the 15 foot wide parcel for most of its length which places the driveway 2-112 feet from the north and south side yard property lines; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on September 7, _ 2005 concluding that "hardships" are present and support can be given to deviate from the strict requirements of the Roseville City Code; rt
