Merit Pay: <br />The requirements to achieve merit pay are patterned after a combination of the criteria used in other cities <br />such as Bloomington, Coon Rapids, Minnetonka, New Hope, and Shoreview; but adjusted to meet the needs <br />of Roseville. <br />Although you cannot remove all subj ectivity from any pay process, you can certainly make it more equitable <br />by creating a paper-laden formal process that requires Supervisors and Department Heads to document how <br />eligible employees have met certain objective criteria in order to qualify for merit pay. <br />I have attached the revised dra�t administrative policy for your review and discussion. <br />Request: <br />This item is for discussion.
