EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF A MEETING <br />OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF KOSEVILLE, <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />of Roseville, County of Ramsey, State of Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at <br />2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, Minnesota, on October 24, 2005 <br />The following members were present: <br />and the following members were absent: <br />Iviember introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR THE TAX BASE REVITALIZATION <br />ACCOUNT <br />WHEREAS the City of Roseville is a participant in the Livable Communities Act's <br />Housing Incentives Program for 1996 as determined by the Metropolitan Council, and is <br />therefore eligible to make application for funds under the Tax Base Revitalization <br />Account; and <br />WHEREAS the City has identified a clean-up project within the City that meets the <br />Tax Base Revitalization account's purpose/� and criteria; and <br />WHEREAS the City has the institutional, managerial and financial capability to <br />ensure adequate project administration; and <br />WHEREAS the City certifies that it will comply with all applicable laws and <br />regulations as stated in the contract agreements; and <br />WHEREAS the City Council of Roseville, Minnesota agrees to act as legal sponsor <br />for the project contained in the Tax Base Revitalization grant application submitted on <br />November 1,2005. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Manager are <br />hereby authorized to execute such agreements as are necessary to implement the <br />project(s} on behalf of the applicant. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />, and upon vote taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereoi <br />and tl�e following voted against the same: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted <br />
