The County then directed <br />cities to develop a method of financing their recyclingprogram beginning January 1992. Roseville responded <br />by approving the establishment of a recycling fee that has been included as a part of the quarterly utility bill. <br />Ramsey County bas announced that cities may apply for SCORE funds that the County received from the State <br />of Minnesota. The amount of those fiu�ds available to Roseville in 2006 is $64,037. <br />The application process for the grant requires a resolution adopted by the City Council. <br />Financial �nt�licaiions <br />The grant will be used to pay a portion of the Curbside Recycling Program. <br />Staff Recommendation <br />It is recommended the Council adopt a resolution authorizing the City Manager to apply for the grant. <br />Council Action Rec�uested <br />Motion adopting resolution authorizing the City Manager to submit a grant application to Ramsey County for a <br />2006 SCORE Funding Grant in amount of $64,�37.Q0 for use in Roseville's residential recycling program. <br />
