• Provide Professional Develapmeni�Oppor�`upitiesfor the HRA's Board of <br />Commissioners and staff, including membership in the National Association of <br />Housing & Redevelopment Authorities (NAHRO), Minnesota Chapter, Urban Land <br />I nstitute and subscriptions to various housing related publications. Identified as a <br />high priority for the HRA. <br />• Collaboratewith the City Council, Commissions, 35W Corridor Housing Collaborative <br />Institute, First Ring Suburban Group and other groups to ensure that housing <br />opportunities within the fi rst ring suburbs receives adequate attention and that <br />City residents have access to quality services. Identified as a high priority for <br />the HRA. <br />* Explore the costs and benefits of partnering with the City and local school districts <br />on a"Quali�vof Life"andschool focused communitv�#�. This has been <br />identified as a high priority of the HRA. <br />• Create a targeted marketing and communication plan to promote the HRA and its <br />programs and services as well as housing code compliance issues. Develop, <br />distribute and fund the plan in partnership with ioca� area banks, realtors and the <br />school d i stri ct. <br />4.11 Continuously review and evaluate the Multi Family H�usir�a Study Policy <br />Statements and Action Steps for future implementation based upon <br />annual review with budget resources <br />1. Policy Statement: Provide more opportunities for Roseville renters to own homes <br />in Roseville, should they decide to move from their rental housing. <br />Possible Action Steps - evaluated annually for implementation within budget <br />resources: <br />i, Provide target mailings to the 50%of apartment complexes where <br />there are a high percentage of younger renters, marketing <br />homeownership classes and fi rst time buyer programs. <br />ii. Through quarterly meetings, newsletters, and seminars, partner with <br />Realtors and Bankers to target first time buying opportunities to <br />these complexes. <br />iii.
