Housing and Neighborhood Plans <br />Section 6 <br />Housing 8� Redevelopment Authority in and for the City � Roseville <br />Housing Plan <br />Adopted July 15,2003 <br />Preamble: <br />The Housing & Redevelopment Authority in and for the City c£ Roseville (the <br />"HRA) was created on June 17,2002 by the City Council of the City c� Roseville <br />(the "City") as a separate entity pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Sections 469.001 <br />to 469.047. One c� the key objectives c� the HRA is to provide housing programs <br />and promote safe, decent and affordable housing options for the community. The <br />HRA Housing Plan (the "Housing Plan") serves as a guide in the planning and <br />policies related to providing a community rich in housing quality and choices for <br />all residents c£ the City. <br />After reviewing the City's current and future housing & demographic <br />conditions, the City Vista 2000 report and the Roseville Comprehensive Plan, the <br />HRA has dete�mined. that it is in the best interest c� the City i� develop, <br />implement and manage housing projects and activities throughout the City. <br />The HRA's mission is to plan, implement and manage housing projects and <br />activities for the citizens in the community by providing equal opportunities for <br />quality, decent and safe homes and suitable living environments; and by <br />strengthening partnerships among all levels c� government, non-profit and �ar-- <br />profit organizations to maximize social and economic opportunities.This will be <br />done through the spirit cf professionalism and integrity c� the HRA's Board c£ <br />Commissioners and staff. <br />RoseviIXe ComprehensivePlan - 2003 Update Page 1 of 1 <br />
