Of the $11,700 in the new actual cash amount; $4000 is proposed to be taken from the <br />round-up program, $6,500 from the 2005 Park Improvement Program landscaping budget <br />and $1,200 from the 2006 Public Works Department budget. <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends pursuing the funding assistanceto aid in the reforestation of streettrees <br />in areas of the community that have suffered boulevard tree loss. In addition, staff <br />recommends updating the street tree inventory to aid in managing the city's urban forest <br />resource. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Motion authorizing the acceptance of a grant from Minnesota Department of Natural <br />Resources Re-Leaf Program in the amount of $8,500 with a cash and in-kind match of <br />$25,200 as outlined. Of the $11,700 new cash amount, $4,000 will be taken from the round <br />up program fund, $6,500 from the 2005 PI P landscaping budget and $1,200 from the 2006 <br />Public Works Department budget. <br />
