Department Approval: <br />�' .�' ��� <br />REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br />Manager Approved: <br />f"��'���� � -����`�� <br />Date: 11/28/2005 <br />Item Na: 6. <br />Agenda Section: <br />L'u aJ i� H�'��ut�� <br />.{ <br />Item Description: Public Hearing to Consider Certification of Unpaid Utility and Other Charges <br />Background <br />As authorized by City Code, Sections 506, 801, and 802, the City annually certifies to the <br />County Auditor any unpaid false alarm, water, sewer, and other charges that are in excess of 90 <br />days past due, for collection on the following year's property taxes. <br />Attached is the current list of delinquent charges. Payments received in the Finance Office prior <br />to December 19,2005 will be accepted and not levied to the County Auditor. <br />Recommendation <br />Staff recommends approval of the attached resolution levying unpaid utility and other charges <br />for collection on next year's property taxes. <br />Council Action Requested <br />Motion adopting the resolution approving the certification of unpaid utility and other charges to <br />the County Auditor for collection on next year's property taxes. <br />
