<br />GENERAL
<br />301.1 Scope. The provisions pf this chapter shall govern C��
<br />minimum conditions and the responsibilities of persons for
<br />maintenance of structures. equipment and exterior �YOpzrty.
<br />301.2 Responsibility. The owner of the premises shall main-
<br />tain the structures and exterior property in compliance with
<br />these raquirernents, except as otherw'ssa provided for in this
<br />code. A person shall not ac;cup� as owner-occupant or pennit
<br />another person to occupy premises which are not m a sanitary
<br />and safe condition and which do not comply with the require-
<br />rrae�ts of this chapter. Qccup�tnts of a dwalling unit, rooming

<br />302.1 Sanitation. All exterior ��+�kri�• and premises shttll be
<br />maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary candiEio��. The occu-
<br />pant shall keep that a�rtof Lhe exterior pro�erty which SuC�# oc-
<br />cupant occupies or controls in a clean and sanitary condition.

<br />3D2-7Accessory structures. All �ecessory struciures,'tnclud-
<br />ing detached garages, fences and wa11s, shall be maintained
<br />sttuctarally sound and in gnad repair.
<br />302.8 Mot�r veEz�cles. Except as provided for in other regula- �
<br />tions, no inoperative or unlicensed motor vGhacle shall be
<br />parked, kept or stored qrt any premises. and no vehicle shall at
<br />any time be m a slaC� of major cEisassembty, disrepair, or in the
<br />process of being suipped or dismantled. Painting of vehicles is
<br />prohibited unless conducted inside an approved spray booth.
<br />Exce�tion: A vehicle of ar. v type is permicted to �ndergo
<br />majnr overhat[E, including t+tititlu k�ti:h, provided that ��ca
<br />wark is pet%i�tned inside � gG�ucture or similarly enclosed

<br />302.9 Defacement oi` properly. No person shall willfully or
<br />wlntoniy damage, mutilate or deface any exterior sur��ce oi
<br />any structwe or building on any pi�ivatc or public property by
<br />placing thereon any marking, carving or graffiti.
