<br />1NTER10R STRUCTURE
<br />305.1 General. The in�erioc- of a structure and equipment
<br />therein shall he maintained in good repair, struct�aliy sound
<br />and in a sanitxry condition. �eaupants shali keep s��tpazEofthe
<br />structure which they occupy or control in a clean and sanitary
<br />condition. Every owner of a structure Cont�au►ing u rootning
<br />house, housekeeping units, a hotel, a dormitory. two or more
<br />dwelling units ortw4 ox more n onsasidcniiat occupancies, shall
<br />maintain, in a c�eare and saaJtaty cnntlifian, t!� shared or publie

<br />3052 Structural members. All structural mecn6ers shall be
<br />maintainedstrucFttra]!y so�atd, andbecapableof supporking the
<br />imposed loads.
<br />305.3 Cute�or surfaces. All interior surfaces, including win-
<br />daws and dac�rs, shall be maintained in good, clean antl sanitaty
<br />condition. Peeling, chipping, flaking or abradedpaint shall be
<br />repaired, removed or covered. Cracked or loose plaster. de-
<br />cayed wood a� �t�� defectivesurface conditions shall be cor-
<br />rected.
<br />305.4 Ska%rs artd waildng surfaces. �very scair, mmp, lan�lin�,
<br />balcony, porch, deck or other wallang surface shall be main-
<br />tained in sound condition and good repair.
<br />305.5 Handrails and guards. Every handrail and guard shall
<br />be firit�iy fastened andcapableof suppprting normally imposed
<br />loads and shall be maintained in good condition.
<br />305.6 lnterior doors. Every interior door shall fit reasonably
<br />well within its frame and shall b e capable of heing opened and
<br />closedby beingp�'operlYand securely altachEd tojambs, head-
<br />ers or tracks as intended by the manufacturerof the attachment
<br />hardware.

<br />EXTERMINATION
<br />308.11nfestaYion. � structures shall be kept freefrn€n insecx
<br />and rodent infestaYion. Al� s�uctu€es in which insects or ro-
<br />dents are found shall bepromptly exterminatedby approved
<br />processes that will not be injurious to hum�n. health. After ex-
<br />termination, proper precautions shall be taken to prevent
<br />reir�festation.
