City Council Regular Meeting —11/14/OS <br />DRAFT Minutes - Page 2 <br />referenced as having been used by City Manager Beets <br />during a League of Women Voters informational meeting <br />of City, School Board and Ramsey County proposed <br />budget presentations. Mr. Kysylyczyn alleged that City <br />Manager Beets had applied a"political spin" to attack the <br />positions of Councilmembers Ihlan, Kough and Schroeder, <br />and had erroneously represented budget issues, specifically <br />related to profits of the License Center, reserve balances <br />and uses, capital purchase schedules, and user fees. <br />�, Metropolitan Council Representative, Ms. Kris Sanda Met Council <br />City Manager Beets introduced the newest representative to District 10 <br />the Metropolitan Council, Ms. Kris Sanda, District 10 Rep Kris Sanda <br />Council Member from Blaine, MN. <br />Ms. Sanda provided her background in state government as <br />a Commissioner for various administrations, and thanked <br />Governor Pawlenty for the honor of serving on the <br />Metropolitan Council in this capacity. Ms. Sanda advised <br />that she was currently serving on two committees on the <br />Metropolitan Council: Community Development and <br />Management. <br />Ms. Sanda provided her business card to Councilmembers <br />and encouraged the Council to contact her for assistance <br />when applicable. <br />Councilmember Kough thanked Ms. Sanda for introducing <br />herself to the Roseville City Council; and spoke to his letter <br />to be addressed later on tonight's agenda, relating to bus <br />shelter refuse and graffiti; proposing that the Metropolitan <br />Council bus shelters be considered for conversion to <br />TranStop shelters, in an effort to provide better <br />maintenance. <br />�r. Jill Anfang, Parks and Recreation Assistant Director <br />Ms. Anfang provided updates and announcements <br />regarding the Guidant John Rose OVAL, noting that "Ice is <br />back at the OVAL!" Ms. Anfang noted the November 18, <br />2005 Guidant Appreciation Night; and the November 19, <br />2005 Friends of the OVAL Foundation Fundraising Gala, <br />
