10. Research and administration of City's Tax Increment Districts. <br />11. Required annual Job & Wage Goals tracking and reporting. <br />12. Develop and maintain a comprehensive, systematic data base inventory of <br />availablebuildings and sites in the community for economic development or redevel- <br />opment purposes. <br />13. Prepare and maintain information on utilities, taxes, zoning, transportation, <br />community services, financing tools etc.; responds to requests for information on <br />economic development and redevelopment projects; prepares data sheets, fmancial re- <br />ports and other information. Responds to citizens inquiring about local development <br />activities and opportunities. Update and monitor online web-based business resource <br />information. <br />14. Coordinate environmental clean-up efforts necessary for economic redevelop- <br />ment. Includes monitoring well management with Health Department, review of RAP <br />and DRAP for projects and local government management of property cleanup. <br />15. Prepare monthly department finance reports. Key department user of finance <br />Springbrook software. <br />16. Assist department director with annual budget development for planning, eco- <br />nomic development, building and code enforcement, zoning administration and GIS <br />functions. <br />17. Serve on staff Development Review Committee and Setback Permit Committee <br />18. City representative on the Roseville Visitor Association as Board Member and <br />organization Secretary. <br />19. Prepare and manage Council-initiatedrequest for proposals for developments <br />and redevelopments. <br />20. Assist in the management of Council-initiatedmaster plan processes and citizen <br />focus group meetings. <br />21. Update of Major Employers lists and number of employees. <br />REQUEST <br />I respectfully request that Council allow us to advertise and try to hire someone to con- <br />tinue to perform the work outlined above. We will try to do that at a reduced "associ- <br />ate" level of pay that would be a 20%-30% reduction from the "Director" level pay cur- <br />rently authorized in the 2006 budget.
