Mr. <br />Kuhbander noted the dangerous traffic issues already in <br />existence on Parker Avenue. <br />Mayor Klausing clarified that the petition referenced by Mr. <br />Kuhbander, stated: "We the unde�signed, �equest a�eview of the <br />Roseville Planning Commission app�oval fo� c�eation of a 10 lot <br />single family development on Pa�ke� Avenue (PF` 3665). Ou� <br />conce�ns with this development include: Density of Development <br />— net seven ("� additional �esidences, T�affic — including <br />addition of cul-de-sac, Aesthetics — changing cha�acte� of <br />neighbo�hood and �emoval of woodlands. We suppo�t a <br />mo�ato�ium on �esidential subdivisions; subject to �eview of <br />o�dinances by Roseville City Council; " and did not mention or <br />suggest City negligence. <br />Mr. Kuhbander expressed his frustration that the City Council <br />had not met the wishes of a number of residents wanting a <br />review of ordinances; the intention to change the entire <br />appearance of a neighborhood; and further expressed his <br />frustration in recently remodeling his home, rather than moving. <br />Duane Franks, 985 Parker Avenue, (across street from <br />proposed development) <br />Mr. Franks expressed his pride at living in Roseville; <br />acknowledging the services, quality of life, and his support for <br />anything that would improve the quality of the community. Mr. <br />Franks opined his support of Mr. Anderson, the quality homes <br />built by Mr. Anderson in similar situations; and opined that the <br />good far outweighed the negative aspects. Mr. Franks further <br />opined that the cul-de-sac would create additional safety for <br />neighborhood children; questioned how some Councilmembers <br />could make an informed decision without personal review of the <br />area in question; and encouraged the City Council to approve the <br />proposed development.
